The boy ran home and told his mother. He got a spade and dug a hole where the fairy told him.
He got the crock of gold and he lived very happy after.
I got the above from my father, Mr. Charles Stephens. - There was an old women there long ago who had two daghters. One was very beautiful and a great help about the house. The other girl was ugly and idler. The mother loved the ugly one best for she was her own(continues on next page)
