- Hidden TreasureThere is gold supposed to be buried in a field belonging to Robert Hood of Dragon in this parish. About fifty years ago, an old man named Caraway lived in Dragon. He was very rich. He had four or five pots of gold. One night late he buried two of the pots under a big stone in the fort which is behind Hoods house. Nobody ever know for certain why he buried it there. Nobody ever searched to find it because the old people say say it is not right to search a fort or even bring sticks out of it. It is said by the old people that a curse comes on them who interfere with a fort.
