  1. About the year 1703 Mass was said in a field in Streeda, Grange, Co. Sligo. This field is now owned by Thos Gilmartin who lives there. There is a large stone in this field which gives a hollow sound when struck by the hand. The old people called the stone Carraig An Aifriann Mór. It is said that gold Mass vessels are hidden somewhere about this field but the place has never been searched
