The people attending the wedding used to race each other on horses on the way home
A wedding feast is held in the new home of the bride and groom and there is feasting and music and dancing until morning, when the Strawboys come in there is great fun. They wear suits made of straw with bells tied round their waists and big tall pointed hats also made of straw. When all the fun is over the bride and groom go on their honeymoon.
