    in Carrigans. The priest Fr Martin happened to be passing by and he asked the boy to come for a bathe with him. When the boy got his father in at dinner, he stole away with the priest. They went over to Tráigh Bhuidhe, a very treacherous spot.
    The priest was a good swimmer and swam out far, but the boy was not able to swim and in trying to reach the priest he got into a current and was lost before the priest could reach him. A search was made for the body byt it was never found until night nights after when a man from Ballyconnell dreamt that if he went at 12 o'clock to a certain sport high up on the shore
