less than a yard long. I put the two ends of the twine through these holes and then knot them together. I put the double ends over my first fingers of both hands and twist the right-hand one round and round about twenty times. Then I keep pulling gently with both hands and the "spinning jenny" keeps spinning round. Sometimes boys cut saw-edges round their "spinning jennies". These are more dangerous because if you touch anything with them when they are spinning they will cut it.
