    back and started "whaling" what she thought was Rucky when the animals yelled she was pleased to think Rucky was suffering for her sins.
    Rucky got what she wanted in the house & was married to the youngest prince but not until she was well scrubbed in a barrel & had the hair shaved off her face. Then she turned out the best looking of them all.
    The old woman who used to tell this story was Mrs Magee (now dead) but her daughter is a Mrs Magee too & lives in Carney, Co.Sligo, about four or five miles from here.
