    they would not allow their children to take a position on Saturday. If they ever gave a bottle of milk to a person they would always put a pinch of salt in it for luck.
    If you find a horse-shoe it is very lucky to hang it behind the door. If you go into a house and that the people of the house are churning you should take what is called a "brash" or you would bring away the butter. If your right ear is warm there is somebody speaking ill of you whereas if your left ear is warm somebody is speaking good of you.
    If you went into a house with a stick on your shoulder you would never grow any higher. If a person was very fond of black they would get reason to wear it or in other words someone would die belonging to
