    trict. People would like to get him above any other thatcher because he was the best of his time. First he would get a bundle of straw and take it in fists and leave it down in layers on the house. When he would have that done he would drive scollops in it.
    Long ago weaving was carried on in our district. It was my own grand-mother who carried it on.
    The people from all directions used to come to her with wool to weave it into clothes.
