Cro Dearg or Herb Robert when crushed and boiled is a cure for consumption. Foranjuice taken in small drops is a cure for king's evil and is also applied to the sore. The leaves eaten with salt like lettuce are good for the blood. It is given to pigs and it improves the milk when given to cows. The juice, when applied to warts, destroys them.
