    At dawn, the sawing stopped and they returned to bed. Each thought that the other had been pulling the clothes, and when they found that this was not the case they were filled with terror. They knew that a ghost had been attacking them.
    When they told their host of their experience, he told them that another party who slept in that room had told a similar story ; and that it was thought to be a nightmare
