    livestock is brisk buyers come to farmers houses, and buy from them, when cattle are bought they are marked with raddle, or a scissors is sometimes used. When a horse or bull is sold the halter is always given away. Toll is always demanded at the "Custom Gap". Two pence or threepence a head has to be paid if the cattle are sold.
