    all talking and laughing and having great fun. They were playing lovely music with bagpipes.
    As my grand-parents were passing they divided and lined up on each side of the road and let them pass.
    There was dead silence as they passed. They thought at first the crowd was young boys and girls of the neighbourhood. They walked their horse slowly for a good distance after passing the crowd; they heard no more music or laughter so they came to the conclusion
