- (continued from previous page)would give no milk. One night they consented to watch the cow and they brought dogs with them.
When they reached this garden they saw in the distance a hare taking milk from the cows so they put the dog after him. On doing so he ran towards this cave, and as he reached it the dog caught him by the tail. The men rushed after him and on approaching the cave they saw and old hag spinning by the fire. They questioned her about the hare but she said nothing, then the men pulled her up and on doing so she turned into a hare and she ran away and they could not catch sight of her again.
