  1. Travelling folk still visit my districk and when they come they put on a very poor mouths. Most of them always bring small articles with them, such as small pictures, candle sticks and lace and many other things.
    Generally the people buy from them if they cheap. Some times they ask three times too much for these small articles which they buy from Woolworths in Sligo and those small cheap shops. Some of them stay a week or so, and more of them stay only for the night.
    Some of the richer travellers buy caravans for themselves and sleep in them, while the poor classes make huts out of a few bags and sticks.
    The alms most common the ask are meat, flour, and milk. All these travellers
