    10. In the country after dark, a lot of young fellows used to disguise themselves with straw. The captain of the gang would knock at the door and demand a dance with the bride. If the gang were sober and orderly, the request was granted and then they were given money to go away and drink the health of the bride and groom.
    11. The bride was not to go back to her father's house for a month after the marriage.
    12. If two of the family got married in the same year some of them were supposed to die inside the next twelve months.
    13. A married woman was supposed to accompany the bride to the Church.
    14. Rice and confetti were showered on the heads of the bride and groom after coming out of the Church.
