In every part of the country there are cures for diseases.
The people of the country have a certain cure for the thin cough. They say that the food a ferret leaves after him will cure the thin cough.
It is said if anyone had a boil or a pimple it is cured by getting a snail and rub it on the boil or the pimple. Then get a thorn of a gooseberry bush and leave the snail on it until it has disappeared and then the boil is supposed to be cured.
If a person had a sty on his eye it is said to get nine gooseberry thorns and point one each day at it and at the end of that time the sty is supposed to be cured.
The people believe that if they had a sick animal the three meaning water will cure it.
