  1. There was once a man and his wife who were very poor. One day both of them were out in the field when they saw a "Leipreachan" the man jumped and caught him, knowing that if he took his eyes off him, he would disappear.
    When the Leipreachan found himself caught he was afraid and tried every means in his power to disappear. Then the man asked his wife what he would wish for. She said she did not know. The man said that if only he had (only) a good breakfast it would put him in form of thinking something.
