Old Cures
Long ago the people used certain cures for ailments without consulting Doctors.
When the children has the whooping cough they got food left behind a ferret and gave it to the children as a cure. The children were also put out under the legs of an ass foal that was never ridden on.
Long ago people went to Holy Wells and whatever part of them ailed they washed it in the water and they were cured.
Remedies were sought for a pain in the back by crawling out under a rock with an opening in it.
It was said that if you got a frog an put him under a pot that whenever he dies you will be cured of the toothache.(continues on next page)- Collector
