    always transacted business at crossroads in olden times but they are not held there now.
    Fairs were held at crossroads formerly that are not held now because the people have more stock now then they had that time and there was not sufficient place by the roadside.
    There is a fair green in the town but still the fair is mostly held in the streets
    When an animal is sold luck money is always given it is called "Luck". When animals are sold they are marked with mud on the flank.
    When a horse is sold the halter or rope is always given away with him. When cattle are sold it is always detained
    The fairs held on 23rd March., 18th September, 17th May, 31st October are the great fairs of the year locally. There is a special fair held for horses also for bonhams
