- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)One night a man was out card playing and it was very late when he was returning to his home. He had to go through fields and in one of these fields was a fort which was quite beside his own home. He did not leave that fort until daybreak. He was going round and round but always landed in the same place. He was terrified as he knew it was the fort on his own land. We went to bed when he arrived home, and in the morning he was quite grey. Before his adventure with the fairies his hair was quite black. All his friends were shocked at the sudden change and they asked him why he didn't turn his coat to escape from the fairies.
