    gather the butter. If a neighbour comes in while the people are churning he has to take three "drasses" with the dash. When the churning is made the churn is washed down with cold water. Then a little block of timber is put under the bottom of the churn at the edge. It is rocked and taken out, washed several times in cold water, salted, and made into rolls. Some of these are used at the home, more is taken to the market and sold
