ÁIRDE:a rich man, - near Finnlug - visited by Bect Mac Dé, a prophet. Prophecy:- "There will be born this night, between here and the sea, your true and worthy king whom kings and princes will honour, and he will bear them to Heaven."30 cows and 30 calves presented to Finnlug by Áird.
1st alms given to Brendan."Let this child be my foster-child henceforth and forever "Bishop Erc sees Altraighe Chille in a blaze - on the night of Brendan's birth.Baptised by Erc - called Mobhi (Movi) by father.White mist fell over Fenit.
