    One day Fionn Mac Cumhall was at a feast at Cahercunrigh with all his comrades. A witch came in and asked Fionn to marry her, and he said "No". She said she would send a cloud of darkness and she did. The result was that they could not see their fingers. She came the second time and asked Fionn to marry her, and he said "No", again. She said she would send thunder and lightning and she did. She came the third time to him and asked him to marry her, and he said "No", again and she said she would stick them to the ground , and she did.
    There was one man named Diarmuid who was not stuck to the ground because he was standing and Fionn told him to go to the East Indies and take three bonhams from the wild sow. Diarmuid set sail as quick as he
