- There is a river running near our house and in the middle of this river there are two big rocks. They are about three feet between these rocks. It is said that there was an old woman drowned there and then the people called it after her name "Cois cúm na Caillighe". This is how the old woman was drowned there. One wet day she was crossing these rocks she fell into the water and was drowned. It is said also that there was a spirit seen there a long time after that. It is said also that people saw her sitting(continues on next page)
