    The other hare came back near morning and she did the same but she did not go up to bed. She (did) stayed up until morning.
    When the master got up in the morning he was full of black stripes after the whipping he got and he never again stayed in that house.
    There was an old school situated in the middle of the "Cnoceen" a little hill near Brosna village. It was covered with iron and was a long, narrow building with one big room in it and a hall.
    It was a mixed school and a master by the name of O'Brien taught the local boys and girls.
    The field where it (stood) was built, is still called Paírc na scoile".
