    To hear the cuckoo for the first time any year with your right ear is good luck but if you hear him on your left hand side with your left ear that is unlucky.
    It is not right to build a house across a path. it would be haunted.
    Some people if they saw cows passing would go to the well believing it would be unlucky not to do so.
    To turn any of your clothes inside out in the morning when putting them on is a sign of good luck.
