in this district. Pat Larry is another traveller. He sells dogs and cats and gets bottles instead.
He has torn clothes and bad boots. He also carries water to the people of the town, Shercock. He does not stay in this district. They usually stay and hour or two in each house. They are made welcome in every house.
If it is a stormy night the people usually give some place to the traveller to sleep in. They give leave to sleep in the loft or hayshed.
There are other ones who camp by the roadside. They sell cans and tables. Some of them tell fortunes.
