    In this district half doors are very common. There are no half doors on the houses built by the government.
    The turf and sticks that were found in the bog were used for burning in the fire. In olden times the people used much candles. The candles were not made locally, but when rush candles were made, rushes were peeled and dipped in butter or grease.
