- (continued from previous page)for the farm animals, are Tuk! Tuk! for hens, Tweet! Tweet! for ducks, Sheulig! Sheulig! for geese, and Pee! Pee! for turkeys. There are no local stories or traditions told about any of the domestic fowls or animals. Eggs are always set in the last quarter of the moon. There is no special mark put on the eggs for hatching. It is said that if a primrose is brought into the house where geese eggs are set, they will be rotten.
