    as their were in former times. The reason for this is that most of the people repair the shoes themselves. Clogs were made and worn locally. They were worn about fifty years ago and they are worn until the present day.
    I do not know of leather being made locally. There were no special kinds of foot - coverings made. There is no saying or proverb connected with boot or shoe making.
