  1. A little over eighty years there was a large castle on Tullaghan in the Parish of Tydavnet. It was owned by Mr Foster. He had a great big orchard. There was a man called Mr Watts who lived in the gate house. He stole apples out of the orchard. He was prosecuted and he was hanged at Wattsbridge in the Parish of Clough. Co Monaghan. That is how Wattsbridge got its name. It is about two miles from our school.
