  1. (continued from previous page)
    For where so ever I do roam
    My thoughts will be of you;
    There's not a flower in yonder bower
    In fertile hill or dale,
    But will me remind of the maid behind
    In Dobbin's Flowery Vale.
    VI
    Farewell sweet maid, the youth he said
    "For now I must set sail,
    And bid adieu, Armagh to you
    And every hill and dale".
    She strove in vain him to detain,
    But while she did bewail,
    He bid adieu and so withdrew
    From Dobbin's Flowery Vale.
