  1. In the school district there are several raths but the one I know best is situated in Sleeveen in the parish of Castlecomer County Kilkenny. Mr. Kennedy is the owner of the land. There are four other raths in view of it. It is round with a high enbankment out of which furze grow.
    Outside of the enbankment there is a big trench with water in it. At the South side of there is no fence except the enbankment with two open spaces which cattle pass through now.
    There are no trees growing
