    Another's of Peggie's stories:-
    A man was walking along a road, when he came across many men with shovels and pick-axes digging around a chapel.
    "God bless the work, men," said the man, looking curiously at the men and the chapel, "What are you doing there?"
    "We are digging up the chapel, because it is surrounded by nettles, and are bringing it to another field," said the men.
    The man looked at the chapel again and laughed, and said, "Why don't ye cut away the nettles instead?"
    They looked at him for a few moments and said, "Oh! we never thought of that," and set out to cut the nettles.

    Micky Dunny was an old blind fiddler who travelled around Kilkenny, with his old dog, playing his fiddle. There was always a welcome before him in every house because of his sweet music. He had lodgings in Kilkenny town, and he never slept a night in the country.
