To meet a black cat is very lucky,
Babies born at night will see ghosts,
If one puts on a dress inside out in the morning she will have good luck,
If one goes astray and turns his coat inside out he will get home safely,
If two swans fly over one house someone is going to die in it soon,
It's unlucky for a person to leave his hat on the cable,
For a wedding cart to meet a funeral is a sign of bad luck,
When giving a pin to another person the pin should be stuck in wood or else a row will follow,
If one finds a horse-shoe nail on the road, one will have good luck,
If one sees sparks flying out of the fire, he is sure to get money soon,
If one cuts her hair and throws it in the fire, she is sure to come back for it on the last day,
If a corpse be nimble, a death is sure to follow soon in the same house.
