    Houselick
    Houselick pounded with a stone and mixed with white of an egg, is a cure for sore eyes.
    Thistle
    Jerusalem Thistle, boiled in water, is a cure for kidney trouble.
    Chamberly
    Chamberly boiled with one pound of blue-stone and salt cure for "itch" in horses.
    Foot and Mouth disease
    Old buttermilk boiled with oaten meal, to which three lls [?] of blue stone is added, and then made into a poultice, when applied in the first stage of the disease, is a cure for "foot and mouth disease" or any foot trouble in sheep and cows.
