    The Unknown Soldier.
In Molahiffe Churchyard there is a grave where a soldier is buried. He was shot in Ballymacelligott in 1918. Four I.R.A soldiers' brought him trough the field to bury him. They called to the caretaker named Duggan and asked him for the key to open the gate. When they had him buried they went away. Some boys' went around the Churchyard when they came to the grave they looked in it and they saw the soldier. He was fresh and he wore a green uniform a gaiters. One of his boots is beginning to rot. The mystery of the corpse is still to be solved.
