- There was a man named John Healy living in Ardea long ago. When he was after planting his garden of potatoes very wet weather came. He was afraid the seed would rot. One day he went and looked at a few of his seed to see were they rotting and they were. He was very vexed when he found out that his seed were rotting. A Priest named Fr Beazley was just passing by and he saw the man inside in the garden and he asked him what was wrong with his garden that he was turning back the sods of the ridges.
