    he struck him in the head and knocked him to the ground. All giant at that time had only one eye in the centre of their foreheads. He then reddened a poker in the fire and put it into his eye. The giant asked his name and Jack said No man. Then the other giants asked him who hit him. He said No man has hit me. He then spapped the giant's sword and killed him. So in that way he was too good for the giant. and in that way he got his name as Jack the giant killer.
