   My grandfather told me when he was ploughing one evening that he saw a man near John Conor's fort and when he went towards him he disappeared. And after a short time he heard music playing. The fort is two fields from the road.

   There was an old woman living in Brookhill. Her name was Shelia Doona she was called Shelia na geapall because she was always riding horses. She used to be in service every year and she used always bring in the horses. She was in Killorglin one day and it was Puck fair's Day. There was a horse in the fair
