It is said that the fairies can never take away (anything) anyone unless they can make them eat or drink the food they offer them.
There is gold supposed to be hidden in an old ruined castle called Castle Corr near Beaufort. One night a couple of men (g) went to get gold there they were hunted by bulls without heads and they never went there since.
A wild turkey is supposed to be guarding gold in some fort in this district but it is not known which fort is it in.
The old people I (he) - asked never heard of water steeds guarding the gold.
