    frequented this spot which got the name of "Venessa's Bower".
    Some years after, it was bought by a gentleman names Sir Gerald Dease, and his wife, Lady Dease not liking the name of the Bower as it sounded very Paganish changed it to "St. Anthony's Chair".
    Recently it has been bought by Major Goff who has had it modernised and many changes in it. He has had a very nice swimming pool erected in the grounds with a spring diving board for his daughter who spends much time swimming and going about in her beautiful car as she is very keen on motor racing.
    There are two underground tunnels in the Estate up to the present day one of which goes to "Oakley Park" which
