    know one custom that is observed at present in this district - it is as follows:
    If two people beyond the marriage age get married youths of the district gather large bottles and pour boiling water into them to knock the bottoms out of them. The bottles can be used as trumpets.
    After nightfall the youths gather around the house in which the married couple are celebrating and start making weird noises with their bottles. This is kept up until about two o'clock the next morning.
    This custom which is known as horning is falling into disuse and now the married couples can celebrate in peace. The chief reason for this is that the civic guards take care to see that no such things occur.
