    asleep in a hollow and when he awoke next morning he set out for home. As he reached his house he fainted.
    This is another one I heard about Griffinrath. One night Mr. Green was herding Dempseys flocks who suddenly he saw a host of fairies dancing round him. They brought him in to the rath and he was kept there for a couple of days. There were two rooms upstairs, and a room downstairs in this rath. These rooms were made of mud and grass and a hole in the wall of each room as doors.
    Another one I heard was as follows:
