    Proverbs
When the cats are out the mice can play.
As busy as a hen at a bag of oats.
as busy as a liar in company.
    As firm as a rock.
    As sly as a fox.
Get the name of an early riser and you can sleep till dinner time.
    As quick as a cat.
    As old as the hills.
A birdie the hand is worth two in the bush.
Half a loaf is better than no bread.
You cannot have your loaf and eat it.
You can bring an ass to the water but you cannot make him drink.
A stitch in time saves nine.
A fool and his money are easily parted.
    Many hands make light work.
