Proverbs
Spare the rod and spoil the child.
Feast and your halls are crowded, Fast and the world goes by.
You can lead an ass to the water but you can't make him drink.
Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Long threatening comes at last.
Many hands make light work.
Children and fools should not handle sharp tools.
Empty vessels make most noise.
Willful waste makes woeful want.
You never miss the water till the well runs dry.
Better alone than in bad company.
A fool and his money soon part.
