I have heard of a man - John Finnegan, Keadue, Boyle, who was evicted form his little comfortable hom in 1884 by Lord Kingston and his furniture was thrown out, and the door locked. If he attempted to go back in to his house he would be put in prison. What a pitiful sight this must have been to see the poor man and his wife and his family lamenting outside their home; but there was no pity for anyone in those awful days.
