There are different kinds of potatoes, namely, Champions, Early Roses, Queens, Banners, and many other kinds. It was Sir Walter Raleigh, who brought, the first potato to Ireland. Long ago, the people, had no iron ploughs, to plough to land, some people, dug it, with a spade, and others ploughed the land with wooden ploughs. Long ago, people, made starch, from potatoes, they (people) peeled potatoes, scraped them, with a scraper and squeezed them, in a cloth, the water, that they got from the potatoes, they put it, in a basin, and left it there, for about three hours, then they took, to the top, of it and what was in the bottom was starch.
