  1. There is an old ruin in Kiltullagh. It is to be seen yet. It is a grave-yard now. It was a chapel at one time and it was turned into a bank. This is a story about it.
    One night the bank-manager was in Castlerea on business and he left his wife in charge of the bank. Before he returned three robbers came to rob the bank. When they entered, the woman ran in the room where the money was, and locked the door. She left the baby in the cradle. She had a pot of water boiling on the fire at the time. The robbers told her to come down or else they would put the child into the boiling water which they did do when she
